I love Psalm 103, it is a great Scripture to declare. The Psalmist literally commands his soul to bless the Lord.

Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Here are 5 wonderful things that the Lord does for us that we can be thankful for...

1.       He forgives! We are forgiven of all our sins. Jesus never changes, so we are forgiven and have an Advocate with the Father.

2.       He redeems our life from the pit! When you are redeemed curses are broken, and you step into the blessings of Abraham. Thank the Lord that the CURSE IS BROKEN over our life, over our family, and over our nation.

3.       He heals all your diseases! Not only has God made provision for your healing, but He has commissioned you to be an instrument of healing to others.

4.       Crowns you with love and compassion. His mercy is new every morning! Great is Thy Faithfulness! God has crowned us with a magnificent crown!

5.       Your youth renewed like an eagles’ – They that wait on the Lord shall mount up with wings like eagles. Here is a promise that will make us to soar, even in the winds of adversity. Let God launch you above the storm and propel you to new heights.

We have so much to be thankful for!

We need to be thankful for America and the Christian heritage that's been given to us by God. We need to be thankful for the great men and women of faith who have been our examples. We are the benefactors of a godly heritage that our founding fathers have passed down to us. We are so blessed!
