Joy Women of Purpose have been attending Bible studies every other Sunday evening and Tuesday morning. Monica Wamsley has been doing a terrific job leading these Beth Moore studies. Her time and devotion to the study along with her added knowledge has been a great experience to all involved!! Due to the overwhelming response to the Bible studies our Women of Purpose meetings had been put on hold. The officers do meet when needs arise. Our regular scheduled meetings were on the third Sunday of the month. But, we are working with Monica and have dates set aside so we can resume our meetings and fulfill our mission. We will post our schedule as soon as we have it set. Together we can make a difference! God Bless!!!

Marilyn Wattelet- President
It is an honor to serve as President of Joy Assembly Women of Purpose. It is my prayer to minister to the women of our church and community. With so many changes in the world today we need to be there to minister to every woman according to her interest and need, ourselves being an inspiration and a good example.Mature Christian women have a responsibility to teach other women "to say no" to ungodliness and worldly passion and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age(Titus 2:12, NIV) We must reach out to people at their point of need. It is my prayer that as President of Joy Women of Purpose that I will fulfill my responsibility and to minister to the elderly and young women at their point of need at this time. We must answer to God as to how we accomplished the job He has set before us. Praise be to God.

Sarah Kodavatikanti - Vice President
I am honored to serve as Vice President of Joy Assembly's Women of Purpose. I believe women are called to support and help in any way possible to better the Kingdom of God. I also believe that some parts of God's Kingdom strategy are reserved specifically for women. Serving is one of those, that is what I see in the ladies of Women of Purpose, an intense desire to serve God by serving others. The Bible says in Phillipians 2:14, “Do everything without complaining or arguing...” and “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” (Col. 3:23-24). Our inheritance is secure, in Joy's Women of Purpose, we will serve the LORD!

Susan Good - Treasurer
I feel it is a privilege to be the Treasurer for the Women of Purpose. I live my life for God, he is my center focus and my all in all. I want to love like he loves, to see others through his eyes. When we do that, WOW when he leads, we will be able to do allthings through him. " I walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in others] as Christ loved me and gave Himself up for me, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for me, so that it became] a sweet fragrance." Ephesians 5;2. We are Women with a Purpose and that is to serve him by serving others, with his perfect love.

Rhea Dooley - Secretary
God allowing me to be the Secretary of Women of Purpose has been a great learning experience and I'm so honored to have been given this responsibility. Living my life, not just inwardly but outwardly and having a compassion as Christ did for ALL people is my main goal. I pray that as Women of Purpose our goal be the same along with caring for others in our church and ourcommunity. God loves us and has blessed us and we as Christian women have a "purpose" and a charge that we must show Christ's love and be a light to all. Acts 13:47 says "This is what the Lord told us to do, saying: I have made you a light for the nations; you will show peopleall over the world the way to be saved." I know this is our focus and our purpose. I know that with the officers we have, God is our main focus and His direction is what we crave and strive for.
