I had every intention of waking up at 4am this morning to watch the Royal Wedding. You see, my dear friends Nikki Pugh and Brandy DeClerck had peeked my curiosity last night. (Great Convo girls, I learned much ;)) But after my curiosity started getting me all set to get up at an ungodly hour for a wedding that takes place across the globe, I was reminded of another Royal Wedding that WILL take place. The one between our Lord and King and His beautiful Bride, the Saints. With all of that in mind I wanted to be able to get just a tiny glimpse of what it might be that wonderful day we are married to our King, our Prince Charming. While, the Royal Wedding that took place a couple hours ago (well still is) is so beautiful the one between God and His Saints will be the most magnificent of all weddings. There will be nothing to compare it to.

I'm sitting here this morning reading my book I'm using for a daily devotion and just had to share this part. The book is called Breaking Free and it's about living in the freedom Christ has died for us to have. That doesn't mean living a life that is perfect and trouble free - far from it. But it's have the freedom to be who Christ meant me to be - an overcomer, a conqueror - no matter what life brings.

God Is Gracious I John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (NIV)
Kay tells us, “If you are not dead, no matter what you have done, God is not finished with you.” So what do we do with this sin that has taken us farther than we intended to go, kept us longer than we intended to stay, and cost us more than we expected to pay?

Moving Past our Devastation 2 Samuel 7:2 - He (David) said to Nathan the prophet, "Here I am, living in a palace of cedar, while the ark of God remains in a tent."
David was finally king over all Israel. Living in a palace of cedar. But the Ark of God, the representation of His very presence, was in a tent. David longed to build a house for the Ark.
